Never skip "Single Ladies".
For the next few weeks, I am helping run some daycamps that teach social skills to kids on the Autism spectrum. I just finished the first week and I am ex-to-the-HAUSTED. Don't get me wrong, I like doing it and parts of it were really fun! There were just parts that were... less than really fun. Haha. Like today when one of the boys whined that if he didn't get to have a marshmallow before he went home he would probably starve. I kindly informed him that it takes a human being about thirty days without food before they would starve, and that he would be home well before it was even supper time. That shut him up. Kind of.
Part of my job includes driving one of the boys (Let's call him Nigel. That's a fun name.) from his house in Melfort to where the camp is held in another town and back again. It's about half an hour each way. Woo right? Today, I had a bunch of mix CDs with me to help make the trip seem shorter. Now, I should probably mention that I have music ADD and can't stay on the same song very long. As I skipped through the tracks on one of the CDs, I heard a voice in the back seat.
And then I switched it back and we rocked out with Beyonce all the way to camp. The end.
