I don't really follow much in the fashion world, but this story caught my eye.
It's New York Fashion Week, and one of the models is catching the attention of people everywhere, not because of her outfit, but because she is the first woman with Down Syndrome to model on the NYFW catwalk.

Is that not the coolest thing you've heard all week?! Jamie Brewer is so inspiring.
The story gets even better from there. I did a little extra research. The designer behind Jamie's dress is Carrie Hammer, an advertising sales exec turned fashion designer. Unlike the majority of her fashion colleagues who hire runway models for their NYFW shows, Hammer uses role models to showcase her work. Women of all different backgrounds and sizes and colours!
AND. The clothes? Custom-made! Classy! MODEST!!
