Easter Weekend
You know, it's a good thing this blog isn't a child, because I leave it alone so often that Child Services would have a field day.
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter! (I'd say happy Passover too, but I don't have any Jewish friends yet. Insert sad face.) I spent it with my family! Instead of driving straight home, I decided to meet up with them in Regina while my dad was in a training meeting with this guy.
The drive was uneventful except for looooots of rain. And these mammoth clouds.
On the other side of the province, the fam actually drove through a blizzard, and could only go 60 km/h for most of the three hour drive. I arrived four hours before they did and
The next morning, Mom and Dad woke up early and went to the temple, so the sibs and I chilled at the hotel, ate easter candy, and watched youtube videos on my laptop, which was rigged up to the TV.
The rest of the day we bummed around the city, then drove home. Easter Sunday we went to church, and there was a potluck after the services, so no big Easter dinner for us. And then Monday was Logan's birthday!
This guy turned a big 2.0, and we celebrated by throwing him a moustache party. He invited the missionaries and our Grandpa over for dinner and presents.
Clay suddenly hit puberty during the party and sprouted a sweet stache.
This was Logan's favourite present. It shoots 10 darts at once. We're slowly arming every person in our family with nerf guns in preparation for the zombie apocalypse. Or all-out family war. Whichever comes first.
And then I came back and drove through more torrential rain! The end.
P.S. Look at this book I found! LOL
