Long-lost Besties

Have you ever known someone whose path kept crossing with yours? Someone that, as you got to know of them more and more, you wished you were their best friend?

Well, I kind of have someone like that. I like to think of her as my twin or long-lost bestie. Haha.

When we were little, we didn't know each other, but we were in the same stake (or region) in church. When we were 11, I remember they asked all the 11 year old girls to sing a song for this Christmas program, so she and I were both at rehearsals. We didn't really talk much, because we still didn't know each other. I probs also didn't speak to her because she had an Ever After t-shirt and I was jealous. A lot jealous.

Fast forward a couple years. She had moved to BC, but our paths crossed again at a church camp called Moroni's Quest. Turns out she is the cousin of some of my dear friends, and we were all on the same team for one of the activities. But other than that, we didn't really hang out there either.

Fast forward to this past year. I am living in Lethbridge, and she is in Edmonton. We are facebook friends by now, and occasionally creep on each others pictures and blogs. (By occasionally I mean frequently. At least for me. I'm a creep. Whatevs.) She always leaves nice comments and sends lovely messages once in awhile, and I think, "this girl is really nice. I like her." Then one day, Rachel tells me we are going to have a visitor at our house. And guess who shows up? We spend the entire night finding out we share common loves and we pull an all-nighter watching youtube videos and giggling.

I am, of course, talking about Miss Naomi.

We are like sistas from anotha mista. We like antiques and vintage and blogging and pretty things.
Naomi is gorgeous and smart and funny. She sees the potential in ordinary things, and I ADORE that! She is a talented photographer, and people just love her. And most importantly, she has a beautiful heart.

I just love her.

P.S. You should really check out her blog. It's a must. Legit.
