I miss my family.
I miss Ellie running to meet us when we pull up in the driveway, and racing the car as we leave.I miss the smell out in the country. And being able to breathe in deeply outside without worries of second-hand pot smoke inhalation.
I miss hiking through the bush out to The Rock to watch the sunset.
I miss being blinded by the bright yellow kitchen when I stumble into the kitchen in the morning.
I miss Benton taking the go-cart out and killing the battery EVERY time without fail.
I miss being able to see all the stars at night.
I miss loud supper times.
I miss Dad falling asleep five minutes into the movie.
I miss picking up endless amounts of paper off the floor from Sarah's doodles and lists.
I miss biking over to my grandma's house.
I miss being able to sing as loud as I want, whenever I want.
I miss the infamous Ain't No Mountain High Enough and Shoop Shoop Song duets with Mum.
I miss being able to do laundry any day of the week.
I miss not having to cook meals or pay bills.
I miss talking like babies with Logan.
I miss cutting laps around Melfort.
I miss my built-in bookshelf.
I miss listening to Clay practising piano.
I miss having everyone knowing who I am.
I miss home.
