Seuss-a-Palooza and Other Stories

Today is this guy's 107th birthday! (Well... it would be if he was still alive...) Not only is he my favourite doctor AND my favourite children's author, but he also singlehandedly inspired the poetic stupidity of my highschool years. :) How could I not celebrate him?!
And so, today's Adventure Wednesday was dubbed Seuss-a-Palooza.

Here was the outfit:
The plan was to head over to Markin and lounge on the comfy couches on the second level. Apparently there was some kind of tour or assembly going on, because the place was PACKED. The couches were quickly forgotten. I had the bright idea to escape the building by some other means as opposed to the main staircase. Ben and I ventured into a different staircase that led directly outside. We first went up, to check if the upper levels had couches too, but those doors were locked. Then we went all the way down to the main level to go outside. Bad idea. I may have set off an alarm... We ran BACK up to the second level where we had originally come from. The door was locked. We were locked in the stairwell. This stairwell:
Thankfully, with so many people in there, someone finally let us out. We went to the theatre lobby. Much less trouble. (Minus the loud, off-key theater kids.) There Lizzy joined up with us! We watched the Lorax, and ate chocolates and red jello, and Lizzy read us "Oh the Places You'll Go!" It was a good day.
(I made these shirts by the way. No big deal.)
I love these guys. That is all.
