Thinking back on this week has made me appreciate people a lot more! People have been so kind, and it makes my heart super happy just thinking about all the instances of kindness I've witnessed lately.

Like the kindess of Elizabeth, and her daily hugs and encouraging texts. Like Summer, giving me rides without expecting anything in return and coming to my house because I'm too scared to be there by myself. Like Melissa, saying some of the kindest words I've ever read, when I was having a particularly hard day. Like my family, passing the phone around at home, each trying to make me laugh. Like friends from school, offering notes that I've missed. Like our friend Ricky, coming to the rescue when Ruth's car was having problems, even though it was 1:30 in the morning.
