Reading Week 2012

Getting back into your normal routine after a long break is literally the worst thing. Especially when your week is SUPA CRAY CRAY like this:
1. The fam came down for a few days! Benton and Clay were really excited because they got a huge box of clothes to go through. This neon sweater was Benton's fav.
Loags was jealous because he didn't get any new clothes. He tried to steal some, but they didn't exactly work...
2. Momma Froc brought me a Valentine's care package full of fun things!
3. I was really REALLY tempted to buy this.
4. Clay had a bad day, so I took him to Starbucks for his favourite drink. That fixed it.
5. We had a big family dinner at my Grandparents' house! It was lovely to see lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins! And all of my mum's siblings were there which was nice for her.
6. Clay declared a Paper Hat Day. Everyone had to wear a paper hat. I think Logan pulled his off smashingly!
7. We saw a donkey. He was cute.
8. The sibs and I went for a walk! So happy!
Clay was not impressed with the wind, however.
13. Spent time working on Roadshow sets. I may or may not have wanted to pull out my hair and ended up laying on my kitchen floor singing "Bootylicious" instead...
15. Went on an adventure with Melinda to Calgary to pick up Lizzy from the airport. And... I WENT TO IKEA FOR THE FIRST TIME. IT WAS PRETTY MUCH THE DEFINING MOMENT OF MY LIFE AND IT WAS MAGICAL AND BETTER THAN DISNEYLAND AND I SKIPPED AROUND THE STORE LIKE A LITTLE KID!!!
16. Found inspiration at Timmies.
17. Kale, Rachel, and I were bored on Saturday, so we went to the children's program at the museum and made sock monkeys. We didn't even mind that we were the oldest ones there making crafts.
18. Discovered that Kale has a drinking problem. Sort of.
19. Practiced my audition songs.
20. Missed the heck out of my school buddies! I'm excited to see them all soon.
And that's without homework.
Now on to something happier! Here's a look at how I spent my time off last week.
9. Sarah, Benton, and I walked past a llama farm! It was basically the best thing of my life. As soon as they saw us coming, they all lined up at the fence. Llamas are so wonderful. I wasn't brave enough to run up and pet one though. There were some scary dogs barking at us and I didn't want them to eat me.
10. While Momma Froc went out for a girl's night with her sisters, Dad took the rest of us out for supper!
11. The fam also brought my bike down and I made sure to take advantage of the lovely weather.
12. I played Just Dance with Melinda, Cayley, Deanna, and Gail!
14. Started covering over my holey TOMS
19. Practiced my audition songs.
20. Missed the heck out of my school buddies! I'm excited to see them all soon.
Annnnd with that, it's back to craziness. Have a peaceful week friends! Because I sure won't! :)
