Greetings from the Procrasti-nation
A couple weeks ago we had our closing social for Institute. Big band, hors d'oeurves, dancing, dressing up... the works. Roommate Charlotte decided to put makeup on Chantelle for the eve.
Like, a lot a lot of makeup. At least a lot for me... I'm too lazy to bother with it most of the time. Once I wore mascara and my roommate asked what was wrong with my eyes. True story. Basically the reason there are pictures is because I want my descendants to know that yes, I can actually look female. That Charlotte is a wizard, I tell ya!
(I hope y'all will forgive my cross-eyedness. I'm blind as a braille reader in the dark without glasses.)
In other news...
-If you're reading this, there's a 57% chance that you are procrastinating and should be studying for finals. There is also a 100% chance that I am procrastinating and should be studying for finals.
-I'm leaving on tour with the University of Lethbridge Singers next week! Today in rehearsal I had to sign a form saying that I would only consume a truly reasonable amount of alcohol. I lol-ed a smidge at that one. Janet also told us that our casual performance wear had to be appropriate, and that "If it's illegal when you sit down, it's too short!" Funsuckers, the lot of them....
-I handed out two more job applications/resumes today, which brings my total this week to nine. Hopefully I won't have to break last year's record (twenty-three!) to find a supa-sweet summer gig.
-Tonight I had to explain to my Dad on the phone that Rubella is a disease you get vaccinated for, and is NOT the female version of the name Rumpelstiltskin.
