Soo... I'm feeling a lot better today. If I was a battery, I would probably be at about 76%. My nose is still runny, and I still have a bit of a cough, but my head is clear and my ears don't hurt as much. Usually when I reach this stage of being sick, my brain goes into hyperdrive. I'm pretty sure when I woke up this morning, I had about 7 different complete thoughts within the space of ten seconds. And thus, we have reached my topic for today's post: all of the random things I've been thinking about today.

1. I'm really freaking out about my English essay. As in, I didn't even procrastinate it on purpose this time! I just got sick in the middle of Reading Week.

And now I have to wake up uncharacteristically early tomorrow and fire one out that will get me a good grade. If there were ever a time to pray for me, it would be NOW. Ha.

2. I think I have figured out a use for my ever-growing collection of vintage mother of pearl buttons. I am either going to make a monogrammed pillow sham using the buttons to do lettering, or I found a new stitch that would allow me to connect them into a necklace.

3. I really must learn how to sew this summer... I have skirt envy. A LOT.

4. I have gone through 2 full boxes of kleenexes, three packages of Lipton chicken noodle soup, and two packages of throat lozenges in the past four days.

5. I HATE LEMON FLAVOURED THROAT LOZENGES.

If I get one in a package, I won't eat it. I'll choose another. Look what happened this morning:

So. Not. Impressed.

6. I forgot to do up my resume last week.... Guess I found my project for the week... Blegh.

7. I have really soft sheets.

8. I'm grateful for all the friends/family that have been texting and calling over the past few days to check in on me. :) It made nearly dying from infectious micro-organisms a little more pleasant.

9. There's still one homemade peanut butter cup in my fridge. Hmm...

10. My phone has randomly been shutting itself off. It's annoying.

11. I wore my favourite shirt today (My yellow Beatles one). I also wore a cardigan. It was purple.

12. Semicolons irritate me. They're too finicky to use.

13. I want flowers. Stat.

14. I can sum up my main point for my english essay in one sentence, and I have to find a way to stretch that out into 5-7 pages. Oh joy.

15. When Momma Froc comes in April, I hope she takes me grocery shopping. I want some grenadine, but I'm too cheap to buy it myself.

16. I updated my Happy Things picture album on facebook. It's just a bunch of pictures I like. But it makes other people happy too. I like that. :)

17. I need to get started on learning all my Lethbridge friends' middle names. (It's a thing I have. Just roll with it.) I just realized how few of them I actually know. Disgraceful.
